Marine electrical work is where Patterson Electrical began, and it remains the discipline that defines the practice. We design and install bespoke electrical and power systems for luxury motor cruisers, sport-fishers and superyachts berthed across the Gold Coast — Sanctuary Cove, The Spit, Hope Island, Sovereign Islands and Jacobs Well — and travel to vessels berthed further afield.

Every system is specified before it is installed. Lithium battery architecture is matched to the vessel's actual draw profile, not generic templates. Cable sizing accounts for marine voltage drop and ambient heat. Charging architectures are designed so that solar, shore, alternator and generator inputs play together properly under every realistic operating condition. And every install is finished — labelled, documented, drawing-pack supplied — to a standard that matches the joinery and the rest of the vessel.

This is the kind of work most domestic electricians cannot do, and most marine technicians cannot do at this finish. Patterson Electrical does both.
